I'm not much of a navigator. Saturday afternoon I went with some friends on a scavenger hunt and got lost going to the hunt headquarters. I was lost an hour before the hunt started.
The Mental Health Association of Central Oklahoma hosted The Great Treasure Quest, a fundraiser and scavenger hunt for local companies.
Teams of four drove all over Oklahoma City, visiting landmarks and solving riddles. The Oklahoman newsroom team was metro schools reporter Jesse Olivarez, city hall reporter Bryan Dean, promotions manager Elizabeth Taylor and me.
We did not win. At all. In fact, we mostly got motion sickness from reading in the car. But solving the puzzles and driving all over town was a lot of fun.

•They once roamed the Wild West, but now they lead a quieter but more colorful life by the vitrified clay village.
