Tiffany Ann Kaulaity, 28, was taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries after contacting family members about 6 p.m., Oklahoma City police Sgt. Keith Vance said.

Kaulaity told police she was injured when a man kicked in her door, held her at gunpoint and assaulted her early Sunday.

The extent of her injuries and her condition were not known, he said.

Police search home
Kaulaity was reported missing when her brother came to her home, 1119 N Youngs Blvd., about 11:30 a.m. and found a door kicked in at the residence.

Blood was on the door and more blood and hair was found inside the home, said Terri Bordayo, Kaulaity’s sister.

Homicide detectives and crime scene investigators spent Sunday afternoon collecting evidence, which is standard procedure for cases involving missing persons who might have met foul play, Vance said.

A friend of Kaulaity’s, Holly Jimboy, 23, dropped Kaulaity off at her home early Sunday, Vance said.

Jimboy’s mother said she has not seen her daughter since she left for work Saturday night.

"I feel a little scared. I’m glad she was found, but on the other hand, I’m still worried about my daughter and wondering if she could at least call me up and tell me she’s OK,” Doris Phillips said.

Phillips said she first noticed her daughter was missing when she didn’t turn up to pay for the motel room where they were staying.

"All the stuff is going on with people either missing, being found dead or something. Yeah, I worry about my kids all the time, and when she’s always gone and doesn’t call me or nothing, that scares me even more,” she said.
