What to watch this weekend: Plenty of football

College football
• The Sooners and Cowboys go head-to-head on a big Saturday night of college football. TBS (Cox 62) will nationally televise OSU at Texas (announcers Ron Thulin, Charles Davis and Craig Sager) at 6 p.m.

TBS has announced its broadcast of the game will have limited commercials and the announcers will fill many of the breaks with features, interviews and analysis.

KOCO-5 (Cox 8) will broadcast Oklahoma at Texas A&M at 7 p.m. (Brent Musburger, Kirk Herbstreit, Bob Davie and Lisa Salters). The telecast will go to 43 percent of the nation.

• Three other Big 12 games will be televised. KOCO-5 (Cox 8) will air Missouri at Nebraska for first place in the North at 11 a.m. and FSN Southwest (Cox 37) will show Baylor at Texas Tech at 11 a.m. and Kansas State at Colorado at 2:30 p.m.on FSNSW (Cox 37).

• Among the best national games, No. 14 LSU plays at No. 7 Tennessee plays at 2:30 p.m. on KWTV-9 (Cox 10), No. 12 Arkansas travels to South Carolina at 6:45 p.m. on ESPN and No. 16 Boston College plays at No. 22 Wake Forest at 6 p.m. on ESPN2.

NFL
Dallas (4-3) travels to Washington (2-5) in an NFC East battle at noon on KOKH-25. The "Fox NFL Sunday" studio show will be at the game, and Joe Buck and Troy Aikman will call the game.

• KWTV-9 (Cox 10) has the Sunday doubleheader with the "Battle of Missouri" at noon — Kansas City (4-3) at St. Louis (4-3) — and Denver (5-2) at struggling Pittsburgh (2-5) at 3:15 p.m.

• KFOR-4 (Cox 3) has another strong Sunday night matchup with Indianapolis (7-0) at New England (6-1) at 7:15 p.m.

• ESPN's "Monday Night Football" has disappointing Oakland (2-5) at Seattle (4-3) at 7:30 p.m.

Prep football
• In the state's best matchup tonight, Class 6A's No. 3 Norman plays at No. 1 Moore at 7:30 p.m. on Cox 7 to determine the best team on the West side of the state. KSBI-52 (Cox 9) will air unranked Edmond Santa Fe at No. 7 Mustang at 7:30 tonight.

Horse racing
• In its first year of covering the Breeders' Cup, ESPN (Cox 29) will air an unprecedented seven hours of coverage (11 a.m. to 6 p.m.). Host Chris Fowler will work with analysts Jerry Bailey and Randy Moss.

NBA
• Cox 7 will air the Hornets' home opener against Houston from the New Orleans Arena at 6 p.m. Sunday. ESPN (Cox 29) has a doubleheader tonight with Cleveland at San Antonio at 7 and Seattle at L.A. Lakers at 9:30 p.m.
