Tulsa police make arrest after lengthy standoff

A standoff at a Tulsa apartment complex that lasted more than eight hours has ended, with two men in custody and two people they were holding freed.

Police arrested a robbery suspect identified as Bobby Scott and another man, whose name was not released, after the standoff.

The standoff began after police began searching for a suspect in two robberies that occurred Monday evening. Officer Leland Ashley said the holdups occurred at the Family Dollar store near 8700 East 21st Street and a Subway in the 11600 block of East 31st Place.
