Tulsa middle-school teacher charged in sex case
TULSA — Authorities have charged a Tulsa middle-school teacher in a sex case they say involved a teen boy the teacher was mentoring.
John Gisler was charged Monday with lewd molestation, forcible sodomy and second-degree rape. The 41-year-old man has worked as a science teacher at Whitney Middle School since August 2005.
Records indicate Gisler was arrested Tuesday and bonded out of jail that night.
