The Big 12 began as a stable conference for basketball coaches.

In the league's first six seasons of existence, there were only seven coaching changes.

But in the six seasons since, there have been 16.

Missouri, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, Kansas State and Iowa State lead the way with three changes each.

Texas has yet to make a change with Rick Barnes:

All of these fired coaches walk away with millions of dollars just like Sean did. It is no wonder that Coach Self wants security in his job.
