Police are looking for Rene Modesto, 18, who they say was part of group of five or six young Hispanic males who entered a man’s house this week while wearing masks and brandishing handguns and a shotgun.

After entering the residence in the 1400 block of SW 20, the robbers put a shotgun to the man’s head and told him to lie face down, the victim told police, while the others ransacked the home and took the man’s wallet, the report said.
The robbers took a mobile phone, a TV, jewelry, several checks and the man’s car.
The man said he was not physically assaulted during the robbery, but the robber with the shotgun, who was not wearing a mask, fired a shot inside the house, according to the report. The victim said he could identify the robber who was not wearing a mask.
Police later found the man’s car when the fire department responded to a vehicle fire and found a Toyota Camry, which appeared to be stolen.
