OU linebacker Mike Balogun's eligibility in question
NORMAN — Mike Balogun’s future on the playing field at Oklahoma is in jeopardy.
The NCAA has ruled Balogun ineligible while it investigates whether the senior middle linebacker participated in semi-pro football after his 21st birthday.
Per NCAA rules, a player loses a season of collegiate eligibility for each semi-pro season he plays past the age of 21.
