OU suffered some bumps and bruises, but appeared to escape Waco without any serious injures.

Defensive tackle Gerald McCoy hobbled off the field in the second half after twisting his ankle. But after a brief evaluation by trainers, he was back on his feet walking the sidelines. He never took his shoe off nor left the bench.

"I'm good, I'm good," McCoy said.

Center Jon Cooper left the game with a sprained knee, but said he too will be ready for Texas.

Running back DeMarco Murray had an ice pack on his right knee after the game, but appeared to be walking without a limp.

“We have some nicks,” coach Bob Stoops said. “But I don't think there's anything too serious.”

If the running backs are the biggest shortfall on this team, there isn’t much to worry about.

Our o-line is run-blocking just fine. 2 or 3 yards per run means that your o-line is fine and they are selling out to stop the run. -2 or -3 yards per run means your o-line is crappy.

Agree with previous posts. I've noticed from game one this year that our run game is not as prolific as we all thought it would be. Could be that our "O" line is just better at pass protection than run blocking. Am surprised though. If not fixed it could become a real factor in some close conference games and/or our bowl game.

Chris Brown can hurt you just like DeMarco, and I'm sure some of our younger backs too like Madu. We don't have alot of worries at RB. We can afford to rest DeMarco. Remember when A.P. and Chris Brown had to split the load for Adrian, OU's rushing did not suffer. Same with Murray. I say keep giving it to him unless he really isn't performing (Right now he's still performing well), and if he's hurt give more carries to Brown and Madu.

Somethings not right! I wonder if him being forced to stay off that leg, etc after the injury last year caused him to lose some strength / speed in his legs?

He definitely is missing that extra gear or that "it" factor. Just dont think he is 100%

He definitely isnt performing as I would have expected. Not getting the big runs that everyone expects.

I knew Murray wasn't back to last season form.
