That is right. I will not even think of Texas until about 5pm Saturday. Remember a woeful Stanford team beat USC on their home field last year. I think Baylor is very capable and more talented than other teams that have pulled off upsets this year. I would feel alot better if Pettigrew were 100% and playing. Go Pokes, don't let up!!

Of course the Longhorns are going to be favored and Colt McCoy does deserve Heisman attention as did Chase Daniel before the loss to OSU.
If OSU bested Texas in Austin, one would surmise that Heisman talk would soon start to mention Zac Robinson as well. That's natural. The difference between Zac Robinson and other Heisman candidates is that Zac doesn't have the gaudy numbers, but he's a winner. He makes things happen. He has "IT", as described by Gundy and the reason why Zac was chosen to replace Bobby Reid.
So, let the McCoy talk continue through the game as did the Daniel talk. I'd love to see a repeat of another OSU upset of a Heisman candidate team at their home field.
GO POKES!!

Great, now we can listen to the commentators spew Heisman talk about Colt McCoy for the entire game just as they did for Chase Daniel last Saturday for the entire game.

Until then, I really hope that the team focuses on Baylor....GO POKES!!!

The last couple of games surpassed our previous max capacity of about 45,000. Before, we would only occasionly get to 45,000 or over 40,000 even. It hasn't been completely full just yet with 60,000 available, but even with it being larger now it has appeared fuller than it ever did when it was smaller. I can only imagine how loud it will get on the field now during a close game with the sound being contained by the west end now.

And while I'm on the subject, do you seriously think TBP is worried about ticket sales??? LMAO, buddy. The guy is already a billionaire, and he makes NADA on OSU ticket sales. What a stupid suggestion. Look at the stadium the last couple of games, the place appeared to be packed.

Dan, from Edmond...grow up and get off the "i hate Boone" stuff. You know he has NOTHING to do with TV scheduling, and neither does Holder. The networks pick up games that they think will boost ratings. That would be MU-Texas, and NOT OSU-Baylor! I give you the point about not changing the k-o time because of H/C activities. I wouldn't do it either, if I were making the decision, and I seriously doubt that you would either.

Actually, last time Bama played, they didn't earn #2. They had to recover an onside kick to hold off Kentucky at home, which led them to fall to #4 in one poll last week. Obviously they moved up because #1-3 in that poll all lost on Saturday. I think Texas deserves it this week, but as we well know it doesn't mean much at this point. Until the first BCS ratings are out, polls don't mean much in my opinion.

I'm sure T. Boone doesn't want the home games televised soe people will make the trip to Stillwater and have to buy a ticket and attend, sitting in a seat. Plus OSU doesn't want to change game time due to homecoming activities.

It also doesn't seem right for a team that didn't play this weekend to fall into the number one spot. Last time Alabama played, they earned #2.

It's nice we are finally getting some TV time, but it would be great if we could actually get a home game televised in which we are favored rather than only getting televised as road underdogs against Top 3 teams......

Being idle for a week can screw up stats. That is the case everytime there is a team w/ an idle week. At least Bama's ranking didn't go down. It doesn't matter who is #1 right now anyway. It will matter who is #1 at the end of the season.

Any chance for the #8 team to play at least on local TV this weekend against Baylor?

Still trying to figure out how UT jumped Alabama when Alabama didn't play - doesn't seem right.
