Officials of the Pawhuska-based tribe said the action would help end jurisdictional conflicts with the state caused when a tribal member who lives on Indian land fails to pay child support.

For the first three years, the program will be funded with 90 percent federal money and 10 percent tribal money. After that, federal funding drops to 80 percent.
