Oklahoma Pet Tales: This alarm clock is furry, has a tail

Our 7-year-old Yorkie, Bella, is an unusual little girl. She sleeps under the covers by my husband and every morning she acts as his alarm clock, but with an interesting twist.
About 7 a.m., she climbs up on his chest and starts scratching and licking his face. If he wants to get a few more minutes, he activates her snooze feature by tossing her back under the covers where she goes back to sleep for about 10 minutes.
He can do this two or three times! We lost our other Yorkie, Coco, last summer after 11 years, and I cannot tell you how much joy these dogs have brought to our lives.
