The assessment will be a comprehensive analysis of forest conditions, trends, threats, opportunities, and issues of concern within the state. It also will identify priority rural and urban forest landscape areas across Oklahoma.

Oklahomans are encouraged to participate in a survey through March 7 targeting issues affecting the state’s forest, which will provide a framework for investing resources and determining the future of Oklahoma’s forests, the agency said.

The online survey is at forestry.ok.gov/state-forest-assessment.
