→ FSI Southwest LLC and Food Marketing Specialists Inc. name Phil LaRue account executive, and David Steele general manager. LaRue will assist in the transition between the two companies. Steele will be responsible for Oklahoma for FSI. Both LaRue and Steele have more than 50 years of combined experience in the foodservice industry. FSI Southwest is a leading foodservice broker in the United States.

→Phase 2 Interactive names Michael Hutchinson account manager. He will serve in a marketing and sales role, building business relationships and promoting the company events and seminars. Hutchinson recently worked in client services, design and management roles for Directing Design Inc. Phase 2 Interactive employs one of the largest teams of internet developers in Oklahoma.

→OU Children’s Physicians names Dr. Jessica Brown pediatrician. She is board-certified and has specific interest in preventive medicine and diagnosing and treating childhood obesity. Dr. Brown previously worked in a community health center in Orlando, Fla., where she provided general outpatient pediatric services. OU Children’s Physicians is part of OU Physicians and is the largest physician group in Oklahoma.

→The State Chamber Technology Advisory Board elects Health Clinton member of the board. He is the president and chief operating officer of Phase 2 Interactive and has helped companies with the adoption of technology for more than 14 years.

→Dr. Russell Gornichec announces Dr. Siggi Ming has joined his bariatric practice. She will offer a comprehensive weight loss program with both surgical and non-surgical medically supervised weight loss options. Dr. Gornichec is a renowned bariatric surgeon in Oklahoma City.

→Ernst & Young promotes Jenni Fosbenner senior manager in the tax services group, Oxana Matthey manager in the tax services group, Sarah Stafford and Drew Ward managers in the assurance service group, and Olga Turner in the IT risk and assurance group.

AWARDS AND HONORS

→The Independent Insurance Agents of Oklahoma presented the Eagle of Excellence Award to Dan Ramsey at the grand opening of IIAO’s new headquarters. Ramsey is only the eighth recipient of the award since its creation in 1981.

→McBride Orthopedic Hospital was recently ranked in the top 5 percent in the nation for Overall Orthopedic Services and Joint Replacement in a new study released by HealthGrades, a leading independent health care ratings organization. The hospital also received the Specialty Excellence Awards for Orthopedic Surgery and Joint Replacement for 2010.
