HOSPITALS GET PILOT PROJECT
Two Oklahoma hospitals have been chosen for a project aimed at better coordinating care and payments for some Medicare patients. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services announced Wednesday that Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City and Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa will participate in the two-year demonstration project.

APPEALS COURT RETURNS CASES
The Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals has overturned two district court rulings dismissing lawsuits filed by companies over junk faxes they received.
Appeals Court Judge John F. Fischer, in decisions released Wednesday, sent the cases back to
Oklahoma County District Court Judge Vicki L. Robertson.
MARATHON OIL COMPLETES WELL
Houston-based
Marathon Oil Corp. said Wednesday it has participated in a successful step-out discovery well on the Brickyard prospect, targeting the Woodford Shale resource play in
Canadian County. Marathon is the well operator and holds about 57 percent interest with owners
Questar Corp. and
Cimarex Energy. Marathon is drilling two additional company-operated wells and is participating in two non-operated wells.
