Parent-teacher talks scheduled

Norman School District schools will have parent-teacher conferences after school today and on Friday. School will be out Friday for the conferences. Parents should call their children’s schools to schedule a time to speak with their teachers.

‘4 REAL’ applications accepted
United Way of Norman is accepting applications for its 4 REAL leadership program through Dec. 14. The program is open to Norman ninth-graders. It teaches students about community services and teamwork. For more information, go to www.unitedwaynorman.com or call 329-2025.

vote Registration deadline nears
The deadline to register to vote for the upcoming Norman school bond election is Friday. Applications are available at Cleveland County Election Board, 641 E Robinson, Suite 200. Forms also are available at most post offices, tag agencies and libraries. The election is Dec. 8. The district is proposing a $110 million bond issue for a new elementary school and other renovation and improvement projects.
