NORMAN — A bird walk will begin at 9 a.m. today at Discovery Cove Nature Center in Lake Thunderbird State Park.

The center is at 1201 Clear Bay Ave., just off State Highway 9.

"Birds of Lake Thunderbird,” a slide presentation, will be shown at 11 a.m. It features birds that live around the lake.

At 1 p.m., children age 2 to 6 are invited to participate in "Birds for Kids,” which features information and activities.
