03- Nick and Nora’s Infinite Playlist
Ahh. He’s back. That sweet guy who knocked up Juno. He’s a sensitive musician this time. But he’s still an endearing geek. Norah asks him to be her boyfriend for 5 minutes and thus begins a night of adventure. Rated PG-13 for mature thematic material including teen drinking, sexuality, language and crude behavior.
03-What Just Happened
Rober De Niro is a Hollywood producer who is failing in his career and his family and, you guessed it, he’s gotta save both before the 107-minute movie is over. Oh and the ringer in the movie? Bruce Willis plays himself as a fat, hairy actor who won’t behave and De Niro has to get him under control or he’s over. Rated R for language, some violent images, sexual content and some drug material.
03-How to Lose Friend and Alienate People
From the acclaimed book of the same name, this movie is a “true story of a real idiot.” A British writer struggles awkwardly to fit into a new role at a high profile New York magazine whose views are a 180 to his own. Rated R for language, the nudity you’d expect with a Brit as the main character and brief drug material.
03-An American Carol
If you hate Michael Moore, you will love this movie. A satire about the political documentarian, Michael Malone who tries to abolish the Fourth of July, but gets visited by 3 spirits who try to show him the true meaning of America. And if you feel like you are watching a spirit from Saturday night’s past, Michael Malone is played by Kevin Farley, little brother of Chris. It is rated PG-13 because you can bet there is some rude and irreverent content and some language and drug material for good measure.
03-Appaloosa
An epic Western from Ed Harris with an all-star academy award winning cast that you can bet it going to show up on awards list this winter. To men (Harris and Viggo Mortensen) are sent to the town of Appaloosa to take back control from an evil rancher (Jeremy Irons) who is hostilely trying to take over the entire town. Enter Renee Zelweger, an attractive widow who throws a monkey wrench in everything. Rated R for some violence and language.
10-Body of Lies
In this movie based on David Ignatuis’ novel of the same name, CIA operative, Roger Ferris (Leonardo DiCaprio) is put at the mercy of CIA veteran Ed Hoffman (Russell Crowe) to dig into the network of an emerging terrorist leader and stop a campaign of bombings. As he gets deeper and deeper the line between good and bad blurs. Rated R for strong violence including some torture and for language throughout.
