Moore library has finance classes

MOORE — A series of free workshops on managing personal finances has been scheduled at Moore Public Library, 225 S Howard.

The next class, "Solving the Mystery of Credit Reports,” will be at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 27. The class will cover how credit ratings are determined and ways a credit rating can be improved. Other topics include deleting your debt, using credit to your advantage, credit bureaus, and credit rating calculations.

Denyel Dibble, business development specialist with Tinker Federal Credit Union, teaches the course. Free financial materials will be handed out, and there will be time for questions.

Future workshops in the series include:

• Jan. 26, "Plastic Surgery, Getting Out of Debt”

• April 27, "10 Steps to Financial Success”
