Oklahoma City's Fourth of July festivities will kick off with a bang tonight. "Red, White & Boom on the River” promises three evenings of fireworks and free concerts at Oklahoma City's Downtown Airpark, 1701 S Western, starting at 4 p.m. with a "Rock and Roll Reunion on the River.”

The reunion features Blood Sweat and Tears with guest Chuck Negron of Three Dog Night. The lineup also includes Mike Black and the Stingrays, Squatty and the Bottys, Jim Edgar and the Roadrunners, and a fireworks show.

Tuesday brings "Patriotic Pops on the River” starting at 4 p.m. The air will be filled with the sounds of ensembles from the Oklahoma City Philharmonic in the afternoon. A special performance by the Oklahoma City Philharmonic, featuring Broadway singers Kelli O'Hara and Mike Eldred, will begin at 8:45 p.m. Following the concert, what's being billed as the state's largest fireworks display will light up the sky.

"KKNG Red Dirt on the River” begins at 2 p.m. Wednesday with musicians Jack Ingram, Aaron Watson, Cory Morrow, Mike McClure, Mickey and the Motorcars, Bleu Edmondson, Ryan Bales, Plainview and West 51. Another spectacular fireworks display will cap Oklahoma City's Fourth of July celebration.
