Jenks cornerback Gabe Lynn has narrowed his potential college choices to five, Lynn said Monday afternoon.

Lynn’s list includes Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Arkansas, Nebraska and North Carolina.

Late last week, Lynn was selected to play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl on Jan. 3 in San Antonio.

Monday, Owasso’s Brandon Webb, an OSU commit, was also named to the team for that game.

Lynn’s brother, Phillip Dillard, was the last Jenks player to play in the game. Dillard is now a starting linebacker for Nebraska.

but yeah, those extra 23k seats would a consolation should he go to OU. At least he would have some extra faces to look at while he sat on the bench for a couple of years...or, he could actually play football, and after three years of making a name for himself, ON THE FIELD, he can jump to the NFL, like Mcquarters...another OSU defensive back who is now in his 10th year of being a millionaire player.

and its time to update your crowd number randy. in case you haven't heard, we expanded the stadium. I don't blame you for living in the past. Sooners definately had some phenomenal times...in the past.

I believe 3 of 4 defensive backs are seniors at OSU this year...couple of promising freshman playing some in their first year already, but an elite player would likely get a lot of game time in his first year. Plus, tell me its not more fun to play for a team that is rising to the top, rather than one that is disappointed when it loses a couple of games. I know how much fun it is being a fan this year.

If he wants to win championships and play for championships EVERY year he will be a SOONER...........If that's not important to him and he doesn't mind playing in front of 40,000 instead of 83,000 at home games and settling for second best in the state then he will be a cowboy.

I think he has an official to OSU for the Baylor game this weekend. I would love to see him play for Coach Beck....

He lives in Tulsa...I'm sure he's made plenty of trips to Tulsa, OSU, and OU. But if his brother is starting at Nebraska, that doesn't bode well for OU or OSU. The last time that happened was when Darell Scott decided on Colorado over Texas cause his uncle went there.

But you never know. OU and OSU would both likely have him sitting at least one or two seasons. OSU has the older secondary. Franks and Alexander are sophomore and juniors respectively, so he could see action as early as 2010 if he stays in state.
