Honor will boost stray-pet efforts in Oklahoma City

One of the country’s largest animal advocacy groups has selected Oklahoma City for a long-term partnership that will provide more money and staff in the fight against pet overpopulation.

Officials announced Monday that Oklahoma City was winner of the "Mission: Orange” campaign by the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals . The goal is to reduce shelter animal euthanasia.
