'Grey's Anatomy''s $25 Million Surgery
'Grey's Anatomy''s $25 Million Surgery
Published: November 4, 2009
A $25 million donation to Seattle Grace Hospital from the parents of one of Arizona's (Jessica Capshaw) patients is put in jeopardy when their child takes a turn for the worse, and the father insists that Arizona perform a life-threatening surgery on his son. The father angrily confronts her, saying, "Do you think I was donating all that money for research to save some other kid?"
Will she do the surgery that could kill the boy, or at best give him two more months to live? Or will she reject the money -- and get in trouble with Richard (James Pickens Jr.) -- and do what she believes is right?
Then Richard dumps Izzie's (Katherine Heigl) medical bills on Alex (Justin Chambers), because she is still MIA and, after all, he is her husband.
