FORT SILL — The first of what may be several charges against U.S. Marines accused of participating in a sex ring involving a 12-year-old girl and a 33-year-old woman was filed in Comanche County Court Wednesday.
Logan Byron Combs, 19, was charged with one count of first-degree rape for allegedly engaging in sexual intercourse with the sixth-grade girl last month.
He was booked in to the Comanche County Detention Center and bail was set at $30,000.
According to previous news reports, prosecutors say the sex ring began last month when 33-year-old Amy Rivera initiated a lesbian affair with her 13-year-old son's classmate. Rivera then allegedly took the girl to hotel parties filled with drugs and alcohol and multiple sexual encounters with several Fort Sill Marines.
Rivera was charged Monday with procuring a child for lewdness or other indecent acts.
