Friday night rewind: Workhorse Chris Wolfe carries Seminole

The strong running of Chris Wolfe carried Seminole to a 28-7 victory over Cushing in Class 4A-2. Wolfe, a senior, gained 252 yards on a whopping 41 carries in helping the Chieftans (4-5 overall) improve to 3-3 and keep alive their playoff hopes. They play host to McLoud in the final regular-season game next week.

Tuttle handles Anadarko
The Tuttle Tigers used the running and throwing of Tanner Koons to beat Anadarko 31-0.
Koons ran for two touchdowns and passed for two others as the second-ranked Tigers remained unbeaten. Tuttle (9-0, 6-0 in 3A-1) held Anadarko to 145 total yards.
The Warriors, who began the season 5-0, fell to 6-3 overall, 3-3 in district play.
Tharp sharp in McGuinness victory
Bishop McGuinness took care of business against Southeast and now can lock up the No. 2 spot in District 4A-1 by winning at Elk City next week.
Sophomore quarterback Camden Tharp gained 127 yards on 19 carries and scored a touchdown as McGuinness beat Southeast 37-22 Friday night. Freshman tailback Danny Krenger added 94 yards and one touchdown on 10 carries.
Tharp completed 9 of 13 passes for 141 yards as the fourth-ranked Fighting Irish (7-2, 5-1) gained more than 400 total yards. Southeast (2-7, 0-6) fell behind 30-0 before scoring three second-half touchdowns.
Randell leads OCA past Prue
Oklahoma Christian Academy showed there’s a significant gap between the bottom two teams in District B-3.
With Parker Randell running for four touchdowns, OCA picked up its second victory of the season by beating winless Prue, 32-14. Randell had TD runs of 35, 9, 58 and 11 yards to stake OCA to a 26-0 lead. He finished with 228 yards on 23 carries.

→Daniel Farrow, Mustang: Farrow, a senior, gained 302 yards on 33 carries and scored five times in the Broncos’ 41-24 victory over Del City.
→Matt Luetjen, Hennessey: Luetjen threw for 172 yards and one touchdown, and carried seven times for 157 yards and two TDs, leading Hennessey to a 38-0 victory over Chisholm.
→Dillon Endecott, McLoud: A senior, Endecott was 20-of-39 passing for 283 yards and three touchdowns in the Redskins’ 21-14 victory over Cleveland.
→Emilio Gatewood, Millwood: Gatewood ran for 181 yards and three TDs, including an 82-yarder, in Millwood’s 47-0 victory over Centennial.
→Bryan Dutton, Guthrie: Dutton threw four first-half touchdown passes, one of them for 45 yards, and the Blue Jays beat Capitol Hill 58-0.
→Derrick Miles, Okeene: Miles, a junior, carried 16 times for 178 yards and two TDs in Okeene’s 62-0 victory over Hooker.
→Jack Warren, Oklahoma Christian: Warren was 9-of-10 passing for 217 yards and four touchdowns as OCS beat Crescent 55-14.
