Charges could be dismissed in OU fan bar fight case

OKLAHOMA CITY - The attorney for a University of Oklahoma football fan accused of nearly castrating a Texas fan during a bar fight in Oklahoma City says prosecutors have agreed to dismiss the charges.

Attorney Billy Bock says District Attorney David Prater notified him late Tuesday that he intends to dismiss an aggravated assault and battery charge against 54-year-old Allen Michael Bennett .
