You voted and here they are - winners of the Oklahoma Beautiful photo contest sponsored by The Oklahoman and NewsOK. Finalists were selected from roughly 800 entries submitted in two categories: scenic and people.
Mike Bergin won first place in the scenic category for his photograph of evening light on a Logan County pond. Second-place winner was Becky Osmond for her November. 2001 Turner Falls photograph.
Shari Holloway won first place in the people category for a photograph of Ken Holloway and his grandson Ross Holloway Turner in a Chattanooga pasture. Second-place winner was Penny Hawkins for an image of Zachary Dushack with his great-grandfather.
The first-place winner in both categories won a $150 gift certificate. The second-place winner in both categories receives a $50 gift certificate.
