By accepting her unusual voice, actress Jodi Shilling gains strength

Actress Jodi Shilling remembers being very shy and having little self-esteem growing up.

The 1999 Oklahoma City University graduate said she often worried about her voice, which never lost its little-girl quality even as she grew older.
