Book competition seeks entries

The Oklahoma Center for the Book is accepting entries for its 21st annual Oklahoma Book Award competition through Jan. 7.

Created to recognize and promote Oklahoma’s working writers, the competition features fiction, nonfiction, poetry, children/young adult and design/illustration categories. To qualify, books must have been published between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2009. Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on April 17.
