Anita Hightower, 27, left Fort Worth, Texas, in 1991 to take care of a sick aunt in Oklahoma City. She was a secretary for the Job Corps in an office across the street from the federal building. Jacqueline Ridley said her sister-in-law had been on maternity leave from the Job Corps and had gone to the Job Corps recruiting office near the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building on the day of the explosion. The young woman loved to write and was a very good artist. Sadly, most of her sketches were with her when she was killed, Jacqueline Ridley said. Jacqueline Ridley said her sister-in-law was taking welding classes at Job Corps, in the hopes that this training would help with her artistry.
