The network and the BCS announced a new four-year contract Tuesday. ESPN outbid Fox, which is in the midst of a four-year deal to televise the games.

The agreement covers the Fiesta, Orange and Sugar bowls each year and the BCS title game from 2011 to 2013.

The Rose Bowl will continue to be televised on ESPN broadcast partner ABC through 2010 under a separate, previous contract.

P.S. I now change my vote to a playoff system!

Looks like all that's left is for ESPN to become a premium pay channel. ESPN SUCK'S!

Amen to comment below. ESPN/SEC tied at the hip. Big 12 will have to earn their way in every year, just like other non-Sec teams. I guess this puts the end to even a BCS + 1 possibility?

So will the Cotton Bowl remain on FOX like the Rose Bowl on ABC? I wonder what will happen if it becomes a BCS game.

I think this is a major conflict of interest that affects the integrity of the college game (many will say it doesn't have much integrity to begin with). ESPN just signed a huge contract to televise SEC games starting next year. Now if you think ESPN hypes that conference now, just wait until it's in their financial best interest to make sure a SEC team gets into the BCS Championship every year. College Football Final will practically be a beg-fest for poll voters to put ESPN's favorite SEC team in. The BCS Championship will always feature the SEC champion. The other conferences will all be left to fight over the other slot.

Boo ESPN! And anyone else who wants the champion in college football chosen based on a subjective popularity poll

Down with the evil BCS.

Just think of how much money they are losing by not having a playoff.

I bet they will broadcast the games on the obscure ESPN U or ESPN Classics so viewer with basic cable will be forced to upgrade to a more expensive tier to view the games.
