Bob Stoops hinted that a change could be coming at kicker after redshirt freshman punter/kicker Tress Way hit just one of his four attempts in Oklahoma's 10-3 loss to Nebraska last week.

Few would have guessed he'd make three changes.

Sophomore Jimmy Stevens started the game, earning back the job he lost against Texas.

Stevens hit his first six extra points, but had the seventh blocked.

When the Sooners attempted a 35-yarder with 9:46 to play in the third quarter, Way trotted back out — and missed wide right.

"One guy doesn't get it up high enough, and the other guy misses," Stoops said.

Two minutes later, Stoops sent Patrick O'Hara, a sophomore from Topeka, Kan., onto the field to cap off a 12-yard Chris Brown touchdown run.

O'Hara's kick was good, and put the Sooners up 55-10. He added a second extra point later in the game.

"Coach told me prior to the game to stay ready, he may need me," O'Hara said. "I was ready."

O'Hara also booted the Sooners only field goal of the game, a 26-yarder with 17 seconds to play in the third quarter to extend Oklahoma's lead to 58-10.
