No announcement from Sam Bradford expected today

NORMAN — Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford has not rescheduled a press conference regarding his future for today, contrary to an ESPN report.

Bradford was scheduled to make an announcement Wednesday about whether he was having season-ending surgery to his separated throwing shoulder. But two hours before the press conference, Bradford cancelled so he could have more time to gather additional information about his shoulder.

ESPN reported that Bradford was set to speak today. But as of noon, no press conference had been scheduled and it's doubtful one will for today.

That makes a lot of sense UnSub. Especially considering that he ranks LAST (not 5th, or 10th, or 30th, or 50th, LAST) in QB ratings in the nations among QB's with a minimum of 15 attmpts. He has not played well when he has played behind a subpar offensive line. I know you won't like it but the truth hurts. Give my niece the offensive line and receivers from last year and she would do well.

OSU fans hopes and prays that he has surgery so he won't beat their team. They know if he is in the game they have no chance. What they don't understand is no matter who plays they still don't have a chance. They have a better chance of winning the lottery than they do beating OU this year, even as bad as OU is this season.

As I said yesterday, LEAVE SAM ALONE. When he is ready, he will let everyone know. He has EARNED respect whether some of you think so or not. Why is it these days that people who display great character by the way they live their lives get attacked by people who have no idea what they are talking about?

It's already being reported that Sam will have season-ending surgery. the DO is a little late on this one.

The idiots on ESPN are arrogant and like to think they are God and know everything and try to show it by being the "first". I'd be thrilled if Sam Bradford surprised everyone.....just to put these arrogant reporters in their place. I wonder what these coaches and players think when they read stuff like this? Its like reporting that "so-n-so" just died, and that very "so-n-so" comes on afterwards and announces that someone forgot to tell him.
