In Florida, where the Sooners have played in 18 Orange Bowls and won 12, where OU football has secured three of its seven national championships, the Sooners play Florida tonight, seeking title No. 8.
STORYLINES
1. OU’s Sam Bradford vs. Florida’s Tim Tebow For only the second time in college football history, Heisman winners face off in a game. Tebow won the 2007 Heisman. Bradford won in 2008.
2. Breaking the slump
Can OU break its major-bowl slump with a win? The Sooners have lost four straight BCS bowls.
3. Big 12 vs. SEC
After plenty of talk between the teams, this game has become a referendum on Big 12 offenses and Southeastern Conference defenses. Which is more potent?
