For the third time in a row, state Rep. Mike Reynolds was the first to file for office at the state Capitol.

Reynolds, R-Oklahoma City, arrived about noon Sunday at the Capitol to ensure he would be first in line once filing for state offices began at 8 a.m. today.
A couple of his children and their friends relieved him Sunday night and Reynolds, elected to the District 91 seat in 2002, returned about 3 this morning to the Capitol.
"I like to show people I'll be hard working - be the first here in the morning during session and the last to leave," Reynolds said. "I hope it shows my work ethic."
About 25 people were in line when filing began this morning.
Among those seeking re-election were Reps. Terry Hyman, D-Leon, John Wright, R-Broken Arrow, Chuck Hoskin, D-Vinita, and Purcy Walker, D-Elk City. House Speaker Pro Tempore Gus Blackwell, R-Goodwell, and state Sen. Tom Adelson, D-Tulsa, also filed for re-election.
Candidates for the state Legislatures, all five U.S. House seats and the U.S. Senate seat held by Sen. Jim Inhofe, R-Tulsa, will be filing during the next three days. Two seats on the Oklahoma Corporation Commission are up for election. Commissioner Jeff Cloud, a Republican, is expected to seek re-election for a six-year term and Jim Roth, appointed to the commission last year, has said he will file to fill the remaining two years on his term.
The filing period continues through 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Vote for Andrew Rice and get Joke Inhofe out!!! Inhofe is a terrible, self-serving, Senator. He consistently votes against the people he represents. He only represents the interests of the Energy (mostly oil) sector. He is socially regressive. and he has killed funding for mass transit in Oklahoma a number of times. Andrew Rice is a better man!
We need to vote out every incumbent until we see elected officials doing something to alleviate our dependency on foreign oil. If I see one more tax credit it better be for developing hydrogen vehicles, CNG vehicles, and wind power and not for basketball teams, welfare, or any other crap like that. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! We have the technology to move away from oil. Let's put a plan in place and get moving forward!
This actually doesn't show me his work ethic...this shows his ability to pointlessly waste time in order to get a news story in the Oklahoman. I question his ability to prioritize tasks now.
