
Edmond businessman Steve Shelton, who is blind, works from home using a computer with a special Braille touchpad. Shelton is the newest appointee to the state Commission for Rehabilitation Services in Oklahoma City. Shelton is a computer analyst and programmer for Fidelity National Information Services, which works with the country's banking industry.

Commissioners for the Oklahoma Department of Rehabilitation Services:
•Ben C. White of Lawton was appointed by Gov. Frank Keating in 2002. White is director of the Comanche County Memorial Hospital Foundation.
•Ray Kirk of Muskogee was appointed by the president of the Oklahoma State Senate. He and his wife run a 585-acre cattle and thoroughbred-horse ranch.
•Steve Shelton of Edmond is a senior computer systems analyst, programmer and consultant for Fidelity National Information Services. He was appointed to the commission by state House Speaker Lance Cargill.
