The Cleveland Browns won the coin flip Friday at the NFL Combine, giving the team the No. 3 pick in the NFL Draft and adding some mystery to where former Oklahoma running back Adrian Peterson may go.

The Browns may now be shooting for Wisconsin left tackle Joe Thomas, considered the top offensive line prospect in the draft.

Or, if Thomas isn't available, the Browns could pass on Peterson and pick a quarterback. Either LSU's JaMarcus Russell or Brady Quinn would be available at No. 3 if Thomas isn't.

"You have to at least weigh that option (of drafting a quarterback),” Browns general manager Phil Savage told The Akron (Ohio) Beacon-Journal.

NFL Draft guru Mel Kiper Jr. has Peterson among the best three players available, along with Thomas and Georgia Tech receiver Calvin Johnson.

"I think Adrian Peterson would be an ideal Cleveland Brown," Kiper Jr. told the Columbus (Ohio) Dispatch. "Jamal Lewis, Phil Savage brought in to Baltimore and he was certainly a key factor in their success. To me, Adrian Peterson, you can make the argument, is the best player in this draft, if not, certainly one of the top three."

The Oakland Raiders lost the toss and will get the No. 4 draft pick.

The most likely destination for Peterson if he doesn't go to Cleveland, he will most likely end up with the Houston Texans at No. 8.
