The fair will be April 5-6 at the Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History, 2401 Chautauqua Ave.
In 2006, more than 500 students competed in categories like spoken language; music; poster art; book-making; film and video; and a language-advocate essay.
Students in grades pre-kindergarten through five will compete April 5. Those in grades six through 12 will compete April 6.
Entries are judged by a panel of elders, teachers, artists and authors from several tribes. The top three winners in each age group and category will get a trophy for their school or tribal center.
