8. Houston. Peterson might make people forget about the Texans passing on Reggie Bush and Vince Young. The Texans need a sexy pick here. And there's a need, with Domanick Williams (Davis) returning from injury.
16. Green Bay. The teams from the No. 8-15 slots are set at running back, although a trade up by a team deeper in the draft isn't out of the question. The Packers have an aging Ahman Green and an unproven Vernand Morency at running back. Peterson, should he fall behind Cal's Marshawn Lynch, is an upgrade.
20. N.Y. Giants. Neither Peterson nor Lynch figure to be around this long, but the Giants could be a team interested in trading up. Tiki Barber's retirement leaves the running back demanding attention.
25. N.Y. Jets. Another team that could be interested in moving up to grab a running back. The Jets did their running by committee this season and are close to being a major contender. A big-time back could be the difference.
