Former Sooner RB Rolle dies at 69

Former OU running back David Rolle died Sunday in Denton, Texas. He was 69.

After growing up in Poteau, Rolle lettered at Oklahoma for three years in the late 1950s. He was a part of the Sooners' record 47-game win streak and two national championships.

Rolle played for one year in the AFL with the Denver Broncos. In that season, he had more than 500 yards rushing and scored three touchdowns.
