Former Sooner RB Rolle dies at 69
Former OU running back David Rolle died Sunday in Denton , Texas . He was 69.
After growing up in Poteau , Rolle lettered at Oklahoma for three years in the late 1950s. He was a part of the Sooners ' record 47-game win streak and two national championships.
Rolle played for one year in the AFL with the Denver Broncos . In that season, he had more than 500 yards rushing and scored three touchdowns.
