Johnson, who ranks second nationally with 146.6 rushing yards per game, missed the team's Nov. 18 game with a partially collapsed lung suffered the week before. He returned for the Nov. 25 win over Nevada. ... This will be the Broncos' first BCS bowl appearance, as well as their fifth straight appearance in a bowl game and sixth in the last seven years. ...
