Game balls: Sooner coverage team gets an A+

This quarterback/wide receiver/quarterback outdueled the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year. Thompson completed 19 of 34 passes for 265 yards and two touchdowns, highlighted by a 99-yard drive in the third quarter.

During the regular season, Nebraska quarterback Zac Taylor threw just four interceptions. On Saturday night, each member of this secondary trio picked off a pass. "Our coverage was excellent," OU coach Bob Stoops said.

Once considered a soft spot on the defensive line earlier this season, this massive defensive tackle applied some serious pressure, including a near-sack on a key fourth-down play in the fourth quarter that ended as an incomplete pass.
