OU headed to Fiesta for first time since 1982

KANSAS CITY , Mo. — Bob Stoops ' circuit of BCS bowls is complete.

For the first time since the 1982 season, Oklahoma is headed to the Fiesta Bowl .

The Sooners had already been to the Orange (twice), Rose and Sugar bowls in Stoops' eight-year tenure.

The Sooners will face Boise State , which crashed the BCS party with a perfect season.
