Oklahoma has been at its strongest on the road this year, especially in Big 12 play. The Sooners are 4-0 in true conference road games, all without star tailback Adrian Peterson.

Saturday's Big 12 Championship is at a neutral site, but it might not feel that way. Still, don't look for the crowd to affect OU's performance.
• Oct. 28 at Missouri: OU passed its first real conference road test with high marks, knocking off the Tigers 26-10.
The crowd wasn't as wild as expected for a showdown of top 25 teams. That was partly because of an 11 a.m. kickoff and partly because the St. Louis Cardinals won the World Series the night before.
• Nov. 5 at Texas A&M: There isn't much argument that Kyle Field is the loudest stadium around, and that was the case in OU's 17-16 win.
The Sooners made the plays they needed to make, forcing the Aggies into two late field goals and converting a game-clinching fourth-and-one.
• Nov. 18 at Baylor: OK, so there were more empty seats than filled ones in Floyd Casey Stadium to see the Sooners' 36-10 win. Playing amid deafening noise is difficult, but playing amid less chatter than you'd hear in a junior-high cafeteria is downright awkward.
• Nov. 25 at Oklahoma State: You can almost feel the hate emanating from OSU fans in Boone Pickens Stadium when the Sooners walk onto the field.
It's the reason the Bedlam game is always crazy in Stillwater and it had the Cowboys in the game Saturday until the final play.
