Bowl outlook: By evening's end Saturday, both the Sooners and Cowboys could feel good about their postseason possibilities. OU will earn a Fiesta Bowl berth with a win over Nebraska in the Big 12 title game. A loss likely sends them to the Gator Bowl, quite a consolation prize. OSU, despite the loss to fall to 6-6, appears headed to the Independence Bowl.

The Bedlam series (Stillwater): Another classic took place at Boone Pickens Stadium, with the Cowboys firing into the end zone on the game's decisive final play. For entertainment sake, can't we get them all played in Stillwater?

Bobby Reid: The Cowboys sophomore quarterback played fine, running for a touchdown and throwing for another. And yet, it appears he may be losing a grip on his job ? at least a significant portion of it. When the game was on the line Saturday, OSU coaches sent Zac Robinson out to guide the final drive.

Bedlam Bob Stoops: There was a time when Stoops' Bedlam stature was shaky, with Les Miles knocking him off in their first two meetings. But Stoops and crew have now won four straight in the series to regain Bedlam bragging rights.

D'Juan Woods: The senior receiver couldn't haul in the game-winner Saturday, through no fault of his own. Otherwise, he played valiantly. Woods caught six passes for 95 yards and a touchdown and laid a vicious hit on Sooner linebacker Rufus Alexander, helping to spring Reid for a first-down run.

Garrett Hartley: The OU kicker was named a finalist for the Lou Groza Award earlier in the week. Then he missed an extra point ? which could have been the difference ? clanking the kick off the right upright.
