But the OU sophomore flanker came up big Saturday. Iglesias' 13-yard touchdown catch late in the first half broke a 7-7 tie in Bedlam, and there was nothing easy about the catch.
On a third-and-10 play from the Cowboy 13-yard line, quarterback Paul Thompson lofted a fade into the left corner of the end zone. The play is designed to go outside of the defensive back, but Thompson's pass instead went inside.
With the ball in the air, Iglesias adjusted his route, came inside OSU safety Quinton Moore and snared the touchdown.
"I don't think he knew where the ball was," Iglesias said of Moore. "PT (Thompson) told me before the play, ‘If I throw it to you, go get it.' "
