OU-Nebraska forever?
Time was, Thanksgiving weekend meant Oklahoma-Nebraska. Now, it means lamenting the loss of the Heartland's greatest football series.
I'm not that romantic about OU-NU myself. I think it was a great championship showdown, but that's really all it was. It was not bloodsport. If both teams weren't top-shelf, it was just another ballgame. I wouldn't go back to the Big Eight days, just to save OU-Nebraska.
