Bedlam betting

For the first time in the Bob Stoops era, Oklahoma State will not be a two-touchdown underdog.

During Stoops' seven seasons at OU, the Sooners have been favored by at least 13 points in every game. The average betting line the past seven years has been OU by 19.

The opening line for Saturday's game at Boone Pickens Stadium is OU favored by 6 points.

But all bets are off when the Cowboys and Sooners square off. Bedlam defies logic. That variable is even more pronounced this year since the Cowboys have defied logic all season. It's impossible to project how they will play.

History reveals Bedlam betting lines have been insignificant. The past seven years the Cowboys have either covered easily (four times) or have gotten blown out and the Sooners covered easily (three times).
