Oklahoma moved to 8-2 with a 34-24 win over Texas Tech Saturday. With games remaining at Baylor and Oklahoma State, the Sooners have plenty of bowl possibilities.
Texas' loss to Kansas State kept alive the Sooners' hopes of winning the Big 12 South and reaching the Big 12 Championship Game. But the Longhorns would have to lose their season finale, Nov. 24 against Texas A&M, to push OU to the title.
OU also is among several teams with hopes, though slim, of an at-large berth to a BCS bowl — most likely the Sugar Bowl. They'd have to win both remaining games to have that chance.
Conversely, two losses could send the Sooners sliding down the bowl ladder.
