How would you rate the coaching career of Bob Stoops, who will coach his 100th game at OU on Saturday?

From 2000 to 2004, it seemed like every year they were not only beating Texas, they were competing for the national title. To say he's been less than spectacular would be unfair. With that said, I've really been intrigued by his energy and his actions as a coach the last two years.

What were your impressions of OU's victory over Missouri on Saturday?

I'd have to rank up it there with one of the biggest wins Stoops has had. Their backs were against the wall for the first time on the road without A.D. (Adrian Peterson), and they not only win the game, but they were just well-schooled. Their defense creates turnovers. The offense is running the football. They walk out of a hostile environment with a solid win and create some confidence going to College Station.

What are the keys for the Sooners in going against Texas A&M?

I think the Oklahoma defense against (Texas A&M quarterback) Stephen McGee. A&M's offense is really clicking, running and throwing. They've got such good balance, and McGee is the guy. Oklahoma pressuring him without giving up a big play is important and trying to put A&M in obvious passing situations.

What are OSU's chances of upsetting Texas?

I think the timing for Oklahoma State is unfortunate. They're getting Texas off back-to-back scares on the road. I get the feeling if Texas was to be had, it was in those two weeks away from Austin. And now that they're coming back home and because Oklahoma State is coming off a big win against Nebraska and (OSU quarterback) Bobby Reid is the real deal, Texas is going to be prepared for them.
